Colbea Nominated for National Business Support Award
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the 2017 National Enterprise Network (NEN) Awards, which recognise the UK’s leading business support organisations.
Colbea has been shortlisted in the Enterprise Support Organisation of the Year (turnover under £750,000), for a year in which we’ve delivered 1,289 business services and won funding from the Natwest Skills & Opportunities Fund to launch ‘In the Market for Success’ – a fully-funded business start-up package for women across Essex. We’ve been nominated alongside Yorkshire Coast Enterprise and Transmit Start Ups – so good luck guys!

Speaking about this year’s nominees, Dawn Whiteley, CEO of the National Enterprise Network, said, “The organisations featured on the 2017 National Enterprise Network Awards shortlist have all clearly demonstrated excellence in the delivery of enterprise support. It was clear from all of this year’s entries that there are some fantastic enterprise initiatives and truly dedicated individuals within our network. We’ve always been proud of the work of our members and congratulate everyone who has been shortlisted. We look forward to announcing the names of the category winners in December.”
Colbea’s CEO Ashleigh Seymour-Rutherford added, “I’m delighted to see our organisation nominated for a national award, which recognises the hard work and dedication of the Colbea team and the consistently high level of training and support services we continue to offer to the local business community.”
The winners will be announced on Friday 1st December at the NEN Annual Conference at the RBS Conference Centre in London.
